IMC wins contract to deliver Lean Six Sigma Executive Training to the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

WASHINGTON, DC., September 24, 2009 – IMC will deliver Lean Six Sigma Executive Training to the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing at their facility in Washington, DC. The main objective of the training is to increase the awareness and comprehension of Lean Six Sigma principles, processes and end results.

The purpose of the training is to educate Lean Six Sigma Sponsors and Champions to perform the critical functions of their roles, including:

  • Communicate and achieve organizational goals and methods

  • Identify, prioritize, and staff the critical few projects for the organization

  • Estimate and keep track of the results of the Lean Six Sigma Projects

  • Ensure projects meet requirements before moving forward to the next stage of implementation

The core mission of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is to design and manufacture high quality security documents that meet customers’ requirements for quantity, quality, and performance as well as deter counterfeiting.
